I'm a big fan of 'classic' still life.  Here's a copper bowl full of figs painted with water soluble oils.  The warmth of the bowl and the background compliment the cool blue colors of the figs. Its 10x10 on canvass This would make a great addition to any chef's kitchen if framed in a plein air frame.
